The Metro College Success Program offers student learning communities — known as Academies — in each of the colleges at SF State: Science & Engineering, Liberal & Creative Arts, Health & Social Sciences, Business, Education and Ethnic Studies. Participants work closely together over the course of two years, taking Metro and General Education courses that count toward all majors. With the support they get from the Metro program and their fellow Academy members, students can make the most of their SF State experience both academically and personally.
