Highlights of Explore SF State – Admitted Students Day

  • Campus Tours: Explore the beauty of the SF State campus through guided tours from student ambassadors. 
  • SF State Student Experience: Meet and talk with current students about their SF State experience.
  • Financial Aid Workshops: Speak to financial aid experts for guidance and support on FAFSA and CADAA next steps.   
  • Say Yes! To SF State: Speak to admissions experts and accept your offer of admission on the spot.
  • Student Research Showcase: A chance to learn about the projects current SF State students are working on.
  1. View our Event Program! The Explore SF State program is designed so that you may participate in activities that are most important to you and your family. We recommend prioritizing your day ahead of time based on your needs. To get the most out of your day, have each guest attend different presentation sessions.
  2. Check-in before arriving for a chance to win tickets to a San Francisco Giants game. Watch for an email and text message on the morning of the event with a check-in form.
  3. Accept your offer of admissions on the spot in front of the Student Services Building!
  4. Visit the SF State student life showcase in Mashouf Wellness Center and the Academic Showcase in the Quad to learn about the many programs and resources SF State offers.
  5. Plan accordingly to take advantage of both a campus tour and housing/residential life tour.
  6. To get additional support and information on the new financial aid application and process, take advantage of the financial aid presentations. All presentations are repeated for your convenience. Drop by the university One Stop to talk directly with financial aid experts.
