  • Explore Academics: Meet faculty in our academic programs and discover hands-on learning opportunities through lab and studio tours, info sessions led by professors and more!
  • Financial Aid Assistance: Speak with financial aid counselors for guidance and support on next steps. More than half of our students receive financial aid, so you can too!
  • Make connections: Speak directly with students, staff and faculty to learn about programs, student organizations and resources to start building your community here.
  • Become an SFSU Gator: Stop by the Celebration Station where admissions staff can help you accept your admission offer. Afterwards, ring the celebration bell to let everyone know you are SFSU Bound and get a free gift.
  • Swag Bags: Students will receive a complimentary swag bag at check in. Yes, FREE STUFF!
  • Win Big: Before arriving, complete the check-in for a chance to win tickets to a San Francisco Giants game. Watch for an email and text message on the morning of the event with a check-in form. Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity!
  • The Explore SF State program is designed so that you may participate in activities that are most important to you and your family. We recommend prioritizing your day ahead of time based on your needs.
  • Look for your academic college and major at the Showcase tables and College Meet-up Activity. Not sure what academic college you are in? After completing the check-in the morning of the event, your personalized digital program will list your major and academic college from your admission record.
  • Are you an Undeclared major or thinking of changing your major? Now is a great time to explore all of our academic offerings. Feel free to visit any Showcase table and College Meet-up Activity during the event.
  • Indulge in SFSU’s on-campus eateries: Lunch will be available for purchase at our on-campus dining options
